The Mason Suite

Our Restaurant
The Press Club is a bespoke bar and restaurant paying homage to Dunedin’s original haunt for editors and publishers in the 1870’s.
In a nod to the esteemed media characters and prominent citizens of Dunedin who frequented the Hotel 150 years ago, a sense of subtle sophistication, with a good measure of frivolity, is echoed in the gorgeous interior design and exquisite service.
A range of dishes with an emphasis on using locally-sourced, organic produce often feature classically-Southern flavours, techniques and ingredients.
The extensive Whisky menu is a signature highlight at The Press Club, with a simple tipple or elaborate cocktail setting the scene for a superb dining experience, or finish off the evening in style.
